I think the time has come for me to shift my writings away from Facebook for a selection of friends and family to site accessible to all. I am a full time laboratory head and run a research program into how white blood cells grow, and how they fight infection. In technical terms that’s called Haematology and Immunology. I’ve been in the research area for 15 years now, with a string of publications to my name. Feel free to check them out on pubmed.com or scholar.google.com if you want to check my reputation.

I receive no funding from any companies that have a vested interest in vaccines, and most of my research funding is from competitive peer-reviewed government or philanthropic grants. I have shares in Circadian Technologies and Alchemia, but they don’t deal with vaccines, and to be honest have lost me more money than made – I should probably sell them!! My motivations for this blog are not about making money, they are not about perpetuating my job. They are about directing people to some good evidence on the subjects that concern them and away from hogwash. I have a load of anti-vaxxer, pro-vaccine and couldn’t-care-less friends. I love them all equally. Do what you want with this info. It’s your life and your kids’ lives. I’m only here to answer any questions you have.
